Does MING set up my MA and Dental Assisting externships or Surgical Tech clinical or am I to find my own?
MING will set up an externship after successfully completing all the student’s class hours and all assigned work and tests scoring 70 or above. Externships are a privilege, not a right. If a student is habitually late or absent, does not complete work or tests, has behavioral issues/poor attitude, MING will not provide an externship and will not license or provide insurance coverage while the student attends their own, in addition, the student may be removed from the MA program altogether for such issues.
Do you have job placement?
MING has job assistance. We help students with resume writing, getting nationally certified or state licensed, showing students places to apply along with job interviewing skills.
What is national certification?
National certification is not required however, MING strongly recommends students become certified. Certification lets employers know that a potential employee has the basic knowledge and/or skills covering different aspects of a medical position. Please check out www.nhanow.com for more information about certification and testing.
